Undoubtedly, the most household names among them belong to the Skywalker family: Anakin Skywalker and his son, Luke the central protagonists of the legendary trilogy crafted by George Lucas.
As the Star Wars universe continues to expand and its timeline stretches ever onward, a host of other capable Jedi Knights have emerged across the series' various spin-offs and derivative works. In this article, I will attempt to rank the power levels of the Jedi Knights I am familiar with. Please note that this ranking reflects my own personal perspective; I ask for your understanding should you hold a differing opinion.

40. Gungi: The Wookiee Jedi Who Survived Order 66
During the Clone Wars era, Gungi a Wookiee Jedi youngling was one of the rare few who miraculously survived the execution of Order 66; a stroke of luck that was truly exceptional.
No one knows exactly how he managed to cheat death: did he rely on his own Jedi abilities? On the inherent physical prowess of his Wookiee heritage? Or did his mentor sacrifice their own life to protect him? Regardless of the circumstances, Gungi had already demonstrated considerable proficiency with the Force while fighting alongside Clone Force 99 on the planet Kashyyyk. His ultimate fate remains unknown, yet for Kashyyyk a world brutally ravaged by the Empire a peaceful life was simply not in the cards.
39. Barriss Offee: The Model Apprentice Who Betrayed the Jedi Order
Barriss Offee began her journey as the apprentice of Luminara Unduli and was officially elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars. Possessing a keen sensitivity to the Force, she sensed the encroaching darkness closing in around them; however, she failed to grasp that the true mission of a Jedi is to stand tall and actively confront that very darkness.
Ultimately, Barriss chose to turn against the Jedi Council. She crossed lightsabers with Ahsoka Tano on multiple occasions, demonstrating considerable skill and prowess; yet, she never fully unlocked her own potential in the Force. She briefly served as an Imperial Inquisitor before forsaking that path to become a Jedi Healer.
38. Jocasta Nu: Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives
In the prequel trilogy, Jocasta Nu—portrayed by the late actress Alethea McGrath—served as the Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives. Her exceptional qualities lay primarily in her vast erudition rather than her combat prowess on the battlefield.
She miraculously survived the massacre at the Jedi Temple during Anakin Skywalker's bloody purge. She had painstakingly curated a repository of Jedi knowledge—a legacy that would ultimately aid Luke Skywalker in rebuilding the Jedi Order.
Palpatine had long viewed the knowledge possessed by Jocasta with apprehension. Upon her return to Coruscant, she was captured by the Empire; determined to prevent the Sith from seizing the profound knowledge she held regarding both the light and dark sides of the Force, she deliberately provoked Darth Vader, ultimately meeting her end at his hands.
37. Eno Cordova: A Scholar-Jedi, Not a Battlefield Warrior
Eno Cordova made his debut in the video game Jedi: Fallen Order, appearing in the form of a holographic recording. This particular Jedi Knight was unique in that he was, first and foremost, a scholar. Seemingly foreseeing the impending rise of the dark side, he labored tirelessly to conceal all records pertaining to Force-sensitive younglings, thereby preserving a beacon of hope for the future of the Jedi.
Eno Cordova survived the execution of Order 66, though he did not live to see the end of the Dark Times. He was renowned for his exceptional insight and wisdom, rather than for brute force in combat.
36. Yord Fandar: A Disciplined and Rule-Bound Jedi Knight
Yord Fandar was an upright, strictly disciplined Jedi Knight who was active during the High Republic era. In the storyline of Star Wars: The Acolyte, he demonstrates impressive adaptability and strategic acumen. Facing the formidable adversary known as "The Stranger," he was the only Jedi to truly discover a method to counter him: by utilizing his opponent's own armor to briefly disable his lightsaber. Regrettably, even having achieved this feat, he was still unable to defeat the enemy. Ultimately, he never received the opportunity to fully unleash the entirety of his power.
35. Reath Silas: The Tragic Apprentice with Unfulfilled Ambition
Reath Silas, a member of the Telin species, was the apprentice of Master Sol and a prodigy of exceptional talent during the High Republic era. He demonstrated intense focus during his training; even while accompanying his Master on missions, he would steadfastly continue to hone his lightsaber techniques.
His true prowess was fully displayed during his duel against the Sith Lord known as The Stranger. Employing a dual-lightsaber fighting style, he successfully managed to knock the mask off his opponent. Yet, in the end, he failed to anticipate The Stranger's insidious combat tactics; he fell in battle, and with his passing, his lifelong potential was buried forever.
34. Vernestra Rwoh: The Youngest Jedi Knight of the High Republic
Vernestra Rwoh is a Mirialan who was active during the High Republic era and is regarded as a true Force prodigy. She was officially knighted as a Jedi Knight at the remarkably young age of fifteen.
Vernestra possesses an exceptionally keen sensitivity to the guidance of the Force; heeding its revelations, she modified her lightsaber into a lightwhip. This unique weapon proved invaluable during conflicts against the Nihil pirates and the predatory plant species known as the Drengir.
In the series Star Wars: The Acolyte, an adult Vernestra Rwoh is portrayed by Rebecca Henderson; however, the storyline has not yet revealed the full extent of her true capabilities at this stage of her life.
33. Aayla Secura: The Master of Lightsaber Combat
Aayla Secura first appeared in the Star Wars Expanded Universe (now Legends) before being officially incorporated into George Lucas's Prequel Trilogy.
This Twi'lek Jedi Master possesses close-quarters combat skills that have reached the very pinnacle of mastery. Regrettably, most of her classic exploits during the Clone Wars era were not incorporated into the new official canon; this makes it difficult for us to precisely determine her ranking on this list based solely on the current continuity.

32. Stellan Gios: A High Republic Jedi Master of Both Power and Strategy
Stellan Gios possessed not only immense Force sensitivity but also exceptional insight. When the Nihil attacked the Republic Fair on the planet Valo, he stepped forward to protect Chancellor Lina Soh; for this heroic deed, he was hailed as a hero.
Later, when the Nihil destroyed the Starlight Beacon space station and sent its debris hurtling toward habitable worlds, Stellan sacrificed his life to cover the evacuation of others—a tragic and regrettable end.
While scenes of him unleashing his full power were rare, he frequently fought alongside other top-tier masters such as Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann. This fact alone serves as ample proof that he was absolutely worthy of the title of Jedi Master.
31. Depa Billaba: Kanan Jarrus’s Master
Depa Billaba was the apprentice of Mace Windu and one of the very few Jedi to have mastered the Vaapad lightsaber form.
This combat style is highly unique, requiring the practitioner to confront their own emotions directly and channel those feelings to fuel a ferocious offensive. Mace and Depa remain the only two known practitioners of Vaapad who did not succumb to the dark side.
Today, audiences know her primarily as the mentor of Kanan Jarrus. In the opening sequence of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 1, Depa sacrificed her own life to save her apprentice.
30. Saesee Tiin: Member of the Jedi Council
Some Force-sensitive individuals possess unique, specialized talents; Saesee Tiin, an Iktotchi, is a prime example. Yet, in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, he ultimately fell at the hands of Darth Sidious. The Dark Lord's actions were so unpredictable that even he could not foresee them.
29. Yaddle: The First Jedi to Fall to Dooku's Blade
Yaddle was active during the High Republic Era and was highly respected for her extraordinary wisdom and acute Force sensitivity. Her most pivotal appearance in the official canon occurs in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi: she tracked Dooku all the way to his meeting with Darth Sidious, ultimately meeting her end at the hands of Dooku's lightsaber.
In that duel, Yaddle fought valiantly, though the power she displayed did not quite match that of the characters ranked higher on this list. However, by that time, she had entered her twilight years, and her abilities may well have passed their peak.
28. Kanan Jarrus: The Surviving Apprentice Who Became a Jedi Master
Kanan Jarrus originally named Caleb Dume is a central character in Star Wars Rebels. When Order 66 was executed, he survived only because his Master, Depa Billaba, sacrificed her life to save him.
Kanan’s connection to the Force was exceptionally profound. After Darth Maul robbed him of his sight, he came to rely even more heavily on the Force to perceive the world around him. 24. Elzar Mann: The Maverick Jedi of the High Republic
Elzar Mann is a rather controversial Jedi figure from the High Republic era. His connection to the Force is unique; he frequently glimpses visions and future events that remain hidden to others.
Possessing formidable power, he nonetheless often lacks composure and wisdom. The Force warned him that the Nihil would attack the Republic Fair on the planet Valo, yet he arrogantly believed that he alone could prevent the catastrophe.
Elzar's story is set to be a central focus of Phase III of *Star Wars: The High Republic*. We look forward to seeing him regain his inner balance and demonstrate even greater power in the unfolding narrative.
23. Ezra Bridger: The Exceptionally Gifted Jedi Knight
Ezra Bridger is a character from Star Wars: Rebels and a Force-sensitive individual of exceptional ability.
He possesses a unique Force ability that allows him to establish mental connections with various living creatures. In the series finale, facing down Grand Admiral Thrawn's fleet, he summoned a pod of Purrgil space-whales to aid the cause, utilizing this ability to its absolute fullest extent.

Avar Kriss was a preeminent Jedi of the High Republic era, possessing a unique and profound understanding of the Force and the Jedi way. Much like the Star Wars equivalent of Captain America, she was equally adept at utilizing a lightsaber-shield for defense as she was at wielding a standard lightsaber to bravely engage and defeat her enemies.
During the outbreak of conflict on the Jedi holy moon of Jedha, she employed the Force to telekinetically spin a lightsaber-shield around a crowd of civilians, deflecting incoming blaster fire while simultaneously engaging enemy troops and battle droids with the lightsaber held in her hand. Her extraordinary mental focus and concentration were key factors that secured her a high ranking on this list of powerful Force-users.
19. Kit Fisto: The Warrior Who Mastered Both Land and Water
Kit Fisto, a Nautolan, possessed a unique Force-sensitivity that allowed him to manipulate water currents. Even while immersed in a state of deep meditation, he is capable of erecting a Force barrier that renders him completely impervious to external attacks a feat nothing short of miraculous. However, the lingering guilt within his heart prevents him from ever achieving true emotional stability.
16. Porter Engle: A Jedi Master Dedicated to Lifelong Self-Improvement
War does not make anyone great this is a truth Porter Engle learned through bitter experience. This Iktotchi Jedi Master was a legendary figure within the circles of the High Republic era; he distinguished himself with heroic deeds in his youth, earning the moniker "The Blade of Bardotta."
Later, when his faith in the Force wavered, he journeyed to the Outer Rim territories, serving as a cook in various Jedi Temples across the region. Yet, whenever a crisis arose, he would invariably don his armor and return to the battlefield.
15. Kelleran Beq: The Jedi Knight Who Saved Grogu
Kelleran Beq was one of the Jedi Order's premier lightsaber instructors, dedicated specifically to training Jedi younglings.
As revealed in the third season of The Mandalorian, it was he who saved Grogu during the execution of Order 66. Facing down a massive force of clone troopers, he fought back fiercely, demonstrating a rare dual-lightsaber combat technique. The prowess of this Jedi Knight is, without question, not to be underestimated.

George Lucas himself has offered somewhat contradictory statements on the matter, occasionally implying that Luke possessed a natural aptitude equal to Anakin’s. If this is indeed the case and factoring in his longer duration of training then even if his methods were unconventional, his overall power is more than sufficient to claim the top spot.
The Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, Adam Christopher’s official novel Shadow of the Sith, and Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi all vividly demonstrate the unfathomable depth of Luke’s power.
